The township board meetings are held on the second Monday of each month. An * denotes a meeting date change due to a holiday or an election. The planning commission meetings are held the last Tuesday of each month. Fire commission meetings are called as necessary.

Township board meetings and the planning commission meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. at the Dalton Township Hall, 1616 E. Riley Thompson Road, Muskegon, MI 49445. The Township will provide necessary and reasonable auxiliary aids and services for any meeting to individuals with disabilities upon seven days' notice to the Township Clerk, Mary Ellen Sherwood.

Fire commission meetings and other meetings of boards and commissions are called as needed and held in compliance with the Open Meetings Act of the State of Michigan.

Note: Some holidays fall on Friday and the Dalton Township Hall is not open on Friday's. However, the dates are listed for public information and for other township departments that are open on Friday. The new township hall office hours are, beginning December 1, 2007,
Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed on Friday's.
